Our Team

Joe Santelli is a National Retail and Development Advisor with Marcus & Millichap. His passion for the real estate industry is what drives him to deliver the highest quality service and consistently deliver results for his clients. Santelli focuses his efforts on putting the clients’ needs first to empower them to make the best business decisions regarding their real estate investments. 

He founded The Santelli Group with the vision to service three key areas of the commercial real estate market: retail, urban core, and development. Fast forward to today, Santelli and his team serve as investment sales advisors for a wide range of private and institutional investors and leading developers, focused throughout Texas, Florida, and the surrounding southern and central regions of the United States. Santelli is a multiple-time Sales Achievement Award and "Best of the Best" Award winner at Marcus & Millichap, as well as a Power Broker Award winner.  He has been featured in several real estate publications, including Dallas Morning News, Dallas Business Journal, D CEO, Yahoo! Finance, The Real Deal, and many more.  

Prior to joining Marcus & Millichap, Santelli served as a top sales advisor and business developer for two Fortune 500 companies, where his many notable achievements and highest-ranking awards include being named Top Sales and Service Professional. Santelli has contributed to the growth of several large-scale organizations, resulting in a proven track record of performance. He also has a love for entrepreneurship, which inspired him to launch two start-up companies that have reached international exposure. 

Santelli has earned his MBA with a double major in real estate and finance from Southern Methodist University Cox School of Business in Dallas, Texas.  He is an active member of the SMU Real Estate Society and serves as a board member for the SMU Folsom Institute for Real Estate. Santelli has also earned his CCIM designation as a Certified Commercial Investment Member and is a member of the Forbes Business Council. He graduated cum laude from Westfield State University in Massachusetts with a bachelor’s degree in business management and a concentration in marketing. 

Santelli has actively served as a board member for Dallas County Medical Society and St. Vincent de Paul North Texas, to advise as their real estate consultant. He also has served as a student mentor for the SMU Cox Mentorship Academy  and the Foundation for CHOICE. In his free time, he enjoys golf, photography, attending art museums, sporting events, traveling, and spending time with his family.
